About Molly (On Trial 1/2/13)
Molly is a very affectionate, 2 year old, little terrier lady who loves to be the centre of attention. She is very friendly to people of all ages. Likes to share your chair and cuddle up close to you. She has real character.
She does shed a little bit of hair. She loves playing with our resident dog. It would be preferable for her to be with another dog as she has always had a doggy housemate.
Molly is energetic and loves to go for walks but can be unpredictable meeting other dogs, but once she gets to know them she is quite friendly.
She is house trained and can use a doggy door. She is a good watch dog as she lets you know if someone is approaching your gate. Molly would make an ideal dog for a family with older children [not toddlers as she is a bit too lively] or a retired person.
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Our $400 adoption fee covers the dog's de-sexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, micro-chipping, and lifetime registration.
For more information or to meet Molly please call her foster carer Brenda or Ray [02] 4919 0370. Molly is in foster care at Port Stephens NSW.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
