Hosay

Introducing Hosay. He is 4 yrs 8 months old and was surrendered from a loving home. Hosay is described by his former owner as a German Shepard X Rottweiler. Jose seems to bond very quickly with any human he comes into contact with. This boy is super big, but very friendly. He is not good with cats and needs a secure yard as he can jump fences. Jose would really need a secure dog run or tennis court style enclosure to keep him safe when left alone. If you love big dogs, Hosay is definitely worth a look. He's just like Chewbacca out of Star Wars! He will cost $350 to adopt, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated. Horsham Paws so desperately want to find this gentle giant a home. We are also looking for an experinced dog owner that could foster this big fella. He has been in the pound for over a month. He needs someone that is willing to walk him and let him stretch his big legs.

Jose was perfectly behaved at the Horsham Paws Meet and Greet Day at PetStock on Saturday and loved all the attention he was getting. Jose did spend Saturday afternoon – Sunday morning in foster care. He got along well with a male kelpie cross lab and a male jack Russell - who the foster carer took him to meet. Jose walks beautifully on the lead. He loves to sit at your feet with a bone while you have a cuppa. Jose loves his food and treats. Jose also thrives on company and would be well suited to a home with another male dog or possibly a very tolerant female dog. He slept beautifully at the back door of his foster home all night – however in the morning when his foster carer left the front door to go to work he panicked and broke through the side gate of the house.
