About Blythe
** Blythe is trialling her new home **
Greetings! I pack a lot of good things into my little body. I’m loving, gentle, affectionate, friendly and great with other dogs. I’m also good with cats.
I’m highly intelligent and am happiest when I have things to keep my brain and body stimulated. When I’m left alone, I’m so keen to have something to do, or to find out where you’ve gone, that I will dig out of my back yard to go exploring. So you’ll either need to be around most of the time, take me to work with you, or have an extremely secure property. I’d prefer the first two options – I love company.
True to my Kelpie heritage, I have heaps of energy and love going for two walks a day – well at least one long one and when I’m older some offleash time - and enjoying lots of play time in between. I probably wouldn’t be happy in an apartment.
I’m keen to please and am doing well at learning English. I’d really love to go to dog school or agility training – something to keep my mind and body active.
I’m seeking a home with another active dog. Ideally I’d like a home with my friend Bisa the lurcher because we grew up together. The more attention and company I have, the better.
