About Baby Floyd (On Trial 10/11/12)
Hi my name is Floyd and I am 12 week old male Maltese x Jack Russell puppy. I am only little but have a very big personality. I love to play with my foster mum's dogs and my other foster pups, I love playing with toys. My foster mum has cats and they don't bother me.
I am an inside dog as I am only little but I do love to go outside and play as well. I sleep inside in my own bed but at times I love to sleep on my foster mum's bed. I like be by your side all the time and love to sit on the lounge and watch TV with my foster family or curl up on their laps. Basically I am a big sook.
I am not toilet trained as yet but that is a work in progress and I am doing pretty good on the harness and lead. I also travel well in the car. I will need to be taken to puppy pre-school as I am a clever boy but have lots to learn.
I would suit a young family but not with real little kids as I am still a puppy and have sharp teeth but I am learning the word "No" to play biting. I am too young to be left home alone all day.
So if you are looking for a playful little puppy who will love you to bits, then I'm your boy.
For more information or to meet Floyd please phone foster carer Krystina on 02-4948-5557 or 0414-702-323 or email krystina_ws@hotmail.com. Floyd is in foster care in northern side of Lake Macquaire, NSW (near Newcastle).
Floyd's $500 adoption fee includes his desexing, first two vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Your support allows us to continue saving other homeless dogs like Floyd.
Medical notes
Floyd has an appointment to get desexed and have his 2nd vaccination on the 23rd November, 2012. If he is adopted earlier, it will be under the condition that he be taken to our vet for his appointment.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
