About Stella (On Trial 9/11/12)
Hi my name is Stella and I will melt your Heart! I am an 8-week-old, female, Labrador X puppy. I love to interact with other puppies and have overcome my initial shyness to love playing with my Foster mum’s Rottweiler. My favorite thing to do is play with children, balls and tug along toys and although I haven’t met any cats yet I’m only young and I’m sure I will get to love them too. I like to travel in the car and didn’t even cry with I had my needles and visited the Vets.
I would love a home with another dog as I am currently in foster care with my brothers and another dog but I also enjoy time lying on my bed or in the sun by myself.
Stella is full of love and enjoys the company of people. She loves nothing better than being part of her human family and having cuddles and snuggles, and she is ready to find her forever home now. She will need a home where she will receive training, a daily walk, and some time inside with the family. She is too young to be left home alone for long hours so will need a dog or person to keep her company.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life.
Stella is a very pretty puppy with the classic Black Labrador features and a small white blaze on her chest. Stella is the quietest and smallest of the three puppies but can be active and cheeky when she feels comfortable and loved around you. She was born on 6/9/2012.
For more information or to meet Stella please phone foster carer Siobhan on 02 49525406 or 0408 603156. Stella is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Stella's $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, first two vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Your support allows us to continue saving other homeless dogs like Stella.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
