Seve *On Trial in His New Home*

*SEVE IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME* Adorable Seve is looking for a loving forever home after a change in his owners circumstances saw him surrendered to SARG for rehousing; will it be with you???

Seve’s previous owner is a mad keen golfer so they named him after Spanish golfer Severiano "Seve" Ballesteros. His mum was a Dachshund x Terrier and his dad a Terrier x. He is now being spoilt in foster care and he’s getting along well with his carer’s 3 year old Terrier/Kelpie x – they just love a game of tug-a-war with their soft toys!! Seve is an affectionate young dog who is not at all yappy or “in your face” although he’s a great little watch dog who will give a warning bark when he feels its necessary. He is described by his carer as being a very outgoing, friendly, happy dog who loves being with people and other dogs though he may be a little boisterous for older dogs or really young children (toddlers). Seve is also good with the household cat. Clever Seve knows “sit” and “wait” and walks really well on a lead. He enjoys playing with his toys and loves a splash in his doggie pool when it’s hot. He is well behaved inside and has only had a couple of “accidents” while he was learning the household’s routine and getting used to the doggie door.

Handsome Seve is quite low-maintenance only needing a short walk or a run around the backyard to use up his energy and he doesn’t appear to shed much hair and will only require the occasional bath to keep it looking good. Secure fencing, chicken wingettes (his fave!) to chew on, toys to play with and lots of love will make Seve very happy indeed!

As Seve sleeps inside at night he would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a friendly doggie companion or on his own but only if he won’t be left alone for long periods of time as he’s used to having company.
