About Bogie *On Trial in His New Home*
*BOGIE IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME* Wow meet handsome Bogie!! He’s such a friendly, happy little dog, you can’t help but fall a little bit in love with him when you meet him. He’s looking for a loving forever home after his owners, who absolutely adore him and spoil him rotten, made the tough decision to move overseas for specialised cancer treatment – will it be with you?
Adorable little Bogie has settled in well into foster care where he gets along well with his carers own little dogs and is getting used to the household cats. Bogie is confident around humans of all shapes and sizes and is good with children. \ He is a true little lapdog and will sit on your knee for hours lapping up all the cuddles and attention. This affectionate dog isn’t at all “in your face” or a yapper though he is a good little watchdog and will give a warning bark when necessary. Bright boy Bogie knows “sit” and “down” and loves entertaining himself with toys. He’s terrific on a lead and enjoys getting out and about strutting his stuff.
Bogie is quite low-maintenance only needing a short walk or a run around the backyard to use up his energy. Being a Shih Tzu cross he doesn’t shed any hair though he’ll require a good brush once a week and a clip a few times a year to keep his coat in tip top condition - he also enjoys bath time which is a bonus! He does have a small overbite which gives him a cute grin and makes his tongue poke out sometimes; he’s such a character! Secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on, toys to play with and a comfy lap to snuggle on will make gorgeous Bogie very happy indeed!
As Bogie is already housetrained and sleeps inside at night he would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion or on his own but only if he won’t be left alone for long periods of time as he’s used to having company – his owner took him everywhere with her.
