Elmo

Elmo has been at the Animal Shelter since 11/10/12.

Elmo the red Cattle Dog is a fantastic looking canine indeed! He is super handsome with his striking coat and colour and is bursting with a personality that just wants to love, have cuddles, play and have lots of fun and most of all he just wants companionship, doesn't every dog want and deserve this? Being a "working dog breed" he has very high energy levels and is very intelligent therefore making him respond well to training particularly if it is interesting and challenging so he will need a very active owner who can spend lots of time with him giving him the obedience work and behaviour skills that he desperately needs. He would be a great dog to be able to take to work once he is properly trained. He is the sort of dog that needs an owner who is able to spend plenty of time with him and not leave him to his own devices stuck in a backyard where he will be very bored. He will be best suited to a family with older children or even a young owner who he can go on many fun adventures with.
