About Tilly (On Trial 14/11/12)
Tilly is such a sweet, adorable little girl. She's a 2 year old Mini Fox Terrier. Because she is still young she has lots of energy and is very curious about everything. A family with children to play with her would be great as she loves to chase and be chased. She enjoys the company of other dogs but once she bonds with you she can be a little jealous of any attention given to other dogs. At night she will curl up beside you and loves to cuddle up and have her tummy scratched. She is of course housetrained. She is an inside dog who will need to be allowed inside when the family are home, and to sleep inside at night.
Tilly is fine around cats and chickens. She may bark for a minute when you leave the house but very quickly settles down and will nap and play with her toys and wait patiently for your return.
She is very fast on her feet and slips quickly through an open door, gate or car door. So she will need a very secure yard and need to be alert with opening doors. As she is bright and curious, she is inclined to bark when bored, or stimulated by passing cars, people and other dogs. This could be resolved with training and TLC. Tilly would love the challenge and fun of dog training classes.
Tilly is intelligent, responsive and loving and will be a wonderful companion. She would love someone to give her lots of loving attention, with pats and cuddles. In return she will be your constant friend.
For more information or to meet Tilly please phone foster carer Kathy on 02-4938-8391(preferred) or else email kathy.dianella@gmail.com . Tilly is in foster care near Tocal, NSW (Hunter Valley, northeast of Newcastle).

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
