About Dory (D2256)
Medium Mixed Breed.
Dory is being handed to SAFE through no fault of her own, but because her owners circumstances have changed. She looks as if she has a touch of Red Heeler in her.
Here is a description from the ex owner.
"She's a lovely dog, very loyal and loving, and extremely friendly - she loves playing with other dogs and meeting new people! She's also good with cats, doesn't chase them or bark at them. She is house trained and knows some basic commands, such as 'sit', 'wait', 'come' and 'paw'. She has been trained to sit and give her paw for her food (breakfast and dinner), and to wait until 'good girl' is said. She is starting to learn 'lie down'. She does need a fair bit of exercise, at least one decent walk a day. She's OK on the lead, although does pull a bit. This is a sad parting".
Dory will be re-homed de-sexed, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
