Barney DL009

Barney is very affectionate and loving and is currently learning his doggie manners inside the house.

Barney is a lovely little dog with a big personality, can be quite the clown, loving to be in the car! He is very active and loves to run around. A decent sized yard would suit Barney’s activity level. He enjoys walking, but is still learning how to walk properly on the lead. He also likes to jump up at people,but is learning that this is inappropriate. Barney understands basic commands, such as sit and lie down but more training is required.

Barney is quite a dominant dog around other dogs, but not aggressive with them. He needs to be around an older dog (preferably male) to put him in his place. However, it would also be best if Barney’s dog friend is young enough to be interested in playing with him.

Barney is incredibly loyal and loving to his current carer and would need a strong owner who is willing to keep up his training and show Barney that he doesn’t need to be so protective. He likes to be inside with you when you are home, but is happy to be outside when you are not.

Consistency is super important with Barney.
