Ruskas

Ruskas has been at the Animal Shelter since 8/10/12.

Our boy Ruskas is quite simply a joy! Loving and sweet as pie is our big black boy who has a darling personality that just wants to be loved. He is terribly affectionate and loves to be cuddled, although due to his size this can often become being smothered by Ruskas, but he always means well. He has a happiness about him that is infectious and his beautiful smile is hard to ignore. Ruskas is looking for a fresh start to his young life. He is looking for a master who has experience with big dogs and will be able to handle him and he will also greatly benefit from attending basic obedience training to brush up on his manners and improve his socialisation skills. When we first met Ruskas he was a little unsure of his new surroundings and lacking confidence, this with patience and love has greatly improved and he is now confident and happy in his surroundings, even if he does wish that the animal shelter was a loving home instead. His new family will have to ensure that Ruskas receives all of the socialisation that he needs in his new home, so his feelings of uncertainty will be gone forever. Being a big dog he will require a big yard to romp about in and a place to call home and he will also require daily exercise and quality time with his family. Ruskas has grown into a handsome and truly stunning dog as you can see from him posing at the camera, his new family will be as proud as punch to call him their own and will be guaranteed to be repaid with a lifetime of love, loyalty and fun times with this great dog we call Ruskas.
