About Bailey (2) (On Trial 5/11/12)
Bailey is a purebred male shih tzu aged 2 years. He has the most beautiful soft coat which feels just like silk and he just adores cuddles and belly rubs.
He gets along well with other dogs and he can stand on his back legs and beg which is just the cutest thing ever.
Bailey is not a barker, walks well on the lead and does not fret when left alone. He loves playing with his toys especially the squeeky ones.
Bailey is not yet fully housetrained because his foster carer works and isn't able to do it, but with some attention and training in his forever home he will learn quickly.
He is a versatile little boy who could fit into almost any loving home preferrably without young children as he needs kind, gentle treatment and Would do absolutely fine in a home with another dog or as an only dog.
Bailey is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside when the family are home and to sleep inside.
Bailey has a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep him comfortable and beautiful.
With just a little training, Bailey would make someone a fantastic companion as he is just adorable.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
