About Lily
My name is Lily. I am lucky to be here today because I was saved from a high-kill shelter just in time.
My foster mum says I am a ****special**** kitty because I am still getting used to trusting people. You see, my life as a young kitty was not very nice. People were mean to me and I wasn’t treated very nicely so I am still a little jumpy when I meet new people. Although I trust my foster mum and her family now, it took me a long time to get there. I still get a little scared from time to time. Loud noises and sudden movements scare me. I also don’t like being bugged too much. When I am scared I can accidently bite you or scratch you. That’s why my forever home need to have no little children.
When I was little I also had cat-flu. I am all better now, but for some reason my right eye didn’t get better. So it is always watery now and it doesn’t open up as much as the other one. It gets gunk build up so my foster mum gently cleans it with a tissue from time to time. I don’t really like it but I know she does it for my own good. Otherwise I am in tip top health.
My favourite pass time is sun bathing. In winter I love lying next to my foster mum’s heater for extra warmth. I get along well with my other foster cat siblings. Sometimes I even run around and play with them, but mostly I enjoy quiet time by myself. I likes sitting at high spots like bookshelves. Most of all, I am the type of cat who will sit on your lap and enjoy hours of strokes and head rubs. When I really get to know you then I will even give you kisses on the face.
I am a clean kitty and likes a clean litter tray for myself. Because I am a *****special***** kitty I am not used to going outside by myself. I can get a bit jumpy from all the outside things and then I run away and get hurt.
All I want is a special human to call my own. One who can be very understanding and patient with me while I get to know them.
Medical notes
Lily is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.
