About Hank (On Trial 3/3/13)
Hank is a very affectionate and laid back 2 year old Mastiff cross. He is happy to lay around in the backyard or in his kennel while I am at work. I have had comments from my neighbours about how quiet Hank is when I’m away from the house. He makes me happy when I come home because he's so thrilled to see me. He does jump up to greet me but he could be trained not to.
Hank is a quick learner and always willing to please. He walks well on a lead, but does pull a little bit as he is a strong boy. He will improve with further training. He loves people and would be suited to someone who would enjoy his company and affection. He is good around kids and other dogs. However, because he is still a puppy and loves people he can be a little excitable around new people and children, so we'd recommend him for older children.
Hank is a great dog and needs to be a part of the family. He enjoys watching telly whilst getting a belly scratch and loves a good bone and most other tucker. Hank is a beautiful boy and just wants to be loved.
For more information or to meet Hank please call his foster carer Jess on 0402 382 457. Hank is on the Central Coast, NSW. \ Our $400 adoption fee covers the dog's de-sexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, micro-chipping, and lifetime registration.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
