About Charlie (On Trial 1/11/12)
Charlie is a 4 month old white Labrador cross puppy available for adoption.
He is quite timid initially but has a great temperament and a wonderful, loving nature. He is very friendly and loves to interact with people of all ages and other dogs. He responds well to food rewards and kind words. He loves his toys and chewing on a bone.
He is gentle with small children and due to his young age, learns very easily and wants to please. He spends most of his time outside with my chocolate Labrador but loves to come inside for cuddles and company.
He will need a yard to run and play in or plenty of walks. Charlie is full of enthusiasm and will make a fantastic addition to any family. He just wants to be loved. He is very friendly, energetic, and playful. Charlie settled into foster care very quickly and I'm sure he'll do the same in his forever home.
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Our $450.00 adoption fee covers the dog's de-sexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, micro-chipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving homeless dogs.
For more information or to meet Charlie please call his foster carer Melynda on 0431-064-686.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
