About Dexter
Meet Dexter!
He is a spunky man that loves a snuggle. It took Dexter a few days to settle into foster care but then a very affectionate and playful puppy appeared.
He loves the cat and gives him plenty of gentle hugs and kisses.
Dexter has a two year old dog to play with and also a 6 week old puppy and is great with both of them.
There are four children in his foster home age from 9 years and up. Dexter would be better suited in a home with older kids or teens, little babies or toddlers may get knocked over or jumped on.
He loves his busy foster home and would have to adjust to a quieter house with plenty of things he would be allowed to chew and play with.
Dexter is a real cuddly boy and would better suit someone who won't mind him up on the couch or bed.
Toilet training is in progress.

Dexter has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and flead.
Adoption details
If you wish to adopt Dexter, the standard adoption process applies:
* Applicant is to submit an application form for review by Geelong Animal Rescue (GAR) along with any questions you may have.
* GAR makes an assessment and invites successful applicants to continue with the process, and unsuccessful applicants with a reason why they are not suitable for this particular animal.
* A Meet and Greet is organised at a convenient time for both foster carer and potential new owners.
* If suitable, an adoption agreement will be signed and date of pick up is arranged.
* Payment of adoption fee is to be made either prior to collection, or on the day of collection. The adoption fee must be paid in cash or direct debit prior to collection can be arranged.
* The new owner has a 2 week trial period where they can return the animal if they are found to be an unsuitable match.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
