About Ninja (On Trial 30/10/12)
Ninja is a wonderful, 3 ¾ yr old greyhound who wants to leave us!!!!!!!!!
You see, Ninja believes he has the skills to start his new life with his forever family. And even though we don’t want him to leave, we will admit that he has taken pet life on with both paws, and is excelling in it.
Despite his size Ninja is a very gentle boy. Everything we ask of him, he will try to do. Even if he doesn’t want to.
He gets on well with all dogs, including the little ones and is cat friendly.
Ninja is a calm boy who you will want to take everywhere with you. One to show him off, he is a good looking well behaved polite boy and two, when he hears the car keys, he runs to the door. You have no choice. He has been to the Christ Church Cathedral, where he lay in the aisle and rested. A nun said he was the most relaxed dog there.
Ninja has learnt to play. His favourite toy is a bouncy ball, which he chases. He does love to do zoomies around the backyard when he is excited. It’s even more fun when he has friends that chase him.
Ninja is an inside/outside dog who likes to compete with the cat for sleep. His daily routine involves sleeping from 11am to 4pm. At night he sleeps in the lounge room. He is toilet trained. He knows his name, come and drop. He is learning stand.
As Ninja is a large dog, who when excited does bounce around, children over 10 years or so would be more ideal.
Since he loves to play, a second dog would be wonderful, but is not essential.
What is essential is a comfy place to snooze, being part of the family and lots of love love love and of course cuddles, which you don’t have to bend down to far to give.
Ninja is also a good candidate for a green collar. We have done all the training. All that needs to be done is the 6 week in home training and an assessment. Ninja can then walk in public muzzle free.
If you want a low maintenance dog, who is easy going and loves to be with you, then Ninja might be interested in meeting you.
For more information or to meet Ninja please call his foster carer Misty on 0434-373-422 or 02-4955-7118. Ninja is in Wallsend, NSW.
His $400 adoption fee covers his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
