About Finn
Finn is a really special little guy and, since being in his foster home, has been nothing but love and energy. Finn has a great temperament and seems to get along well with kids and other dogs. He still has a lot of puppy energy at times but is also happy napping on the couch with you and playing with his toys at home. Finn is doing well on a lead but doesn’t seem to have had any previous training so will probably need work on his commands before testing him off the leash. He is just starting to understand 'sit' and loves getting his treats for doing well. Finn has only had two marking incidents after coming to his foster home but since then has proven himself completely house-trained. He loves sleeping at night and has actually cuddled on the foot of the bed for up to 10 hours. Finn loves his toys but does love to chew so will need plenty of bones and chew toys to keep him busy. He doesn’t like being left alone and really loves your companionship at home as he'll follow you everywhere and want to be with you. Finn would be better off in a home that either can give him a lot of attention or that has a fellow doggy friend for him to play with. Finn is really easy going and has been very tolerant of getting a bath. He has been clipped fairly short so it’s hard to say how long his coat will get but he loves to get brushed and would probably be perfectly content lying for an hour just enjoying the attention. His favourite thing to do is run around the house parading his various toys in front of you to make sure you are paying attention to him! Finn needs a little puppy obedience training like any little guy but will be a loving and fun companion for most homes.
