About Chance
Thank you to our wonderful loving Facebook community who chose a new name for this new boy- Chance. To at last be safe, receive good meals and be loved and cared for, Chance is so grateful for being saved from his previous life. He came to us in an emaciated and poor state. He is missing patches of fur on his body and his bones protrude through his slender frame but yet he has not lost hope. He seeks attention and wags his tail as he struts around the exercise yard. He knows now that he has a chance to live a happy and healthy life; a life where he will be a much cherished family member and not a disposal item of no worth.
He is an average to large sized boy and is learning basic obedience at the present time and doing very well. Given he was not fed well in his past home, he is very keen for a treat and gets a little excitable when there's food around. He does listen when corrected and has the intelligence and potential to become a great family pet. He will learn in no time and with some love and attention and sardines this boy will be in much better condition, have a gleaming coat.
With not a mean bone in his body and despite his unpleasant past, Chance is a happy, loving and affectionate dog. He adores any attention shown to him by the staff and volunteers at the kennels and is easily becoming a favourite among them all.
