Maxie

Maxi is totally delightful. A happy, friendly girl who loves human company. She travels well in the car and always wants to be good! She would love a home where she could be inside when her owners are home. She would like a home where she is not alone all day. She is good with other dogs, but very happy to be the only pet. Maxi was abandoned after a marriage break up and left alone. The neighbours fed her for a while and then she ended up in the Tweed Pound. She could see the Pound Keepers and volunteers and wanted to be with them and made 'sooky'noises. Friends of the Pound were asked if we would rescue her and put her in foster care where she would be happier. She has settled in well. She is not a barker and is no longer 'sooky'. She jumps up into the hammock with her foster carer Jenna when invited and loves human company. Maxi was desexed, & C5 vaccinated. last Wednesday. She has disolving stitches and is ready for her new home. She weighs 13.5 kgs and is only little. Because we are close to the NSW/Qld border our animals can go to either state. We require prospective owners to meet a dog and we do not fly or transport animals interstate.
