About Strider
Schofield and Strider were surrendered to HappyPaws Haven via Riverbank Animal Hospital. They are such lovely juvenile cats who were going to be put down as the owner could not keep them anyone more. One of the vet nurses thought they should have a second chance as they were still young, affectionate with lovely personalities. Rang HappyPaws Haven and we agreed so then asked the owners, they were trilled and were happy to give a small donation to HappyPaws Haven for saving them. They are now desexed micro-chipped and immunised.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, \ fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
