About Jazzy (On Trial 15/10/12)
Jazzy is a 3 year old, female Maltese x Shih Tzu. She is a very pretty girl with a lovely nature to match. She doesn't bark and is very laid back. She is great with my other small dogs and can be left alone for periods of time with no problem.
She is housetrained and is an inside dog and loves people. She loves to stand on her back legs and do a little dance for attention or just rolls over for a tummy rub.
Jazzy doesn't shed so she needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep her comfortable and beautiful.
Anybody who meets Jazzy will fall in love with her right away. She will go to her forever home with her favourite thing in the world, her round bed which she just loves. She is a fantastic family companion.
For more information or to meet Jazzy please phone foster carer Debbie on 02 4945 8756 or email smilingspider@vtel.com.au. Jazzy is in foster care in Belmont, NSW (near Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Jazzy's $400 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
