About Bubbles (On Trial in a new home 4/11/12)
Bubbles is an 11 year old, female, Maltese mix. She is a gorgeous little girl full of life and very energetic for her age. She loves riding in the car and going for walks, which she is ready for every day. Bubbles plays with my other foster dog and likes having her tummy rubbed.
The vet has given her a clean bill of health, no heart murmurs or arthritis. She had a full dental and only had to have 2 back teeth removed. Her medical history can be checked at the vets. Little dogs like Bubbles typically live to around 15 or 16 so she still has lots of years to live and love to give.
Bubbles is an inside dog. She has a low shedding coat will need regular brushing (nearly every day depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep her comfortable and beautiful. But at least she won't leave dog hair on your furniture or clothes.
Bubbles loves your company and follows you around just to be near you. She was surrendered along with her poodle friend, due to their elderly owners no longer being able to care for them. Bubbles adjusted quickly to her foster home and will settle in very happily in a new forever home to enjoy the rest of her life and to bring joy and companionship to someone else.
For more information or to meet Bubbles please phone foster Val on 02-4943-0615 or email grandy9@bigpond.com . Bubbles is in foster care in Charlestown, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Bubbles' special $200 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving other homeless dogs like Bubbles.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
