On Hold
About Jazzie (On Trial 23/10/12)
On hold pending adoption on 23/10/12. Please consider our other dogs at www.DogRescueNewcastle.com.au
Jazzie is a 6 year old, female, Maltese cross. She is a cute little girl; very lovable and likes tummy rubs and cuddles. Jazzie is very friendly with other dogs and people. She loves rides in the car and going for walks. She is house trained and comes when called.
Jazzie is very spritely for her 6 years. Small dogs like her typically live to around 15 or 16 so she's still young. Jazzie is full of mischief, never a dull moment with her. It makes you laugh to watch her antics! She loves paying with her toys, anything to catch your attention. Jazzie spent her earlier years making money for a breeder. Now she is thoroughly enjoying her new lease on life and is such a happy girl.
Jazzie is an inside dog. She has a low shedding coat will need regular brushing (nearly every day depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep her comfortable and beautiful. But at least she won't leave dog hair on your furniture or clothes.
She is a little darling who will brighten up your life. All she asks for in return is plenty of TLC. Jazzie is a very good companion for someone on their own and who has time to spend with her.
Jazzie is in foster care in Charlestown, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate. For more information or to meet Jazzie please phone foster Val on 02-4943-0615 or email grandy9@bigpond.com
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Jazzie's $400 adoption fee covers her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving other homeless dogs like Jazzie.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
