About Ammo (On Trial 28/3/13)
Hi, my name is Ammo. I am a 2 year old Bull Arab cross breed. But don't be fooled by my macho name, I am well trained and obedient. I love to go for walks and I walk well on a lead. I get along well with other dogs and with cats. I would need a high fence as I am quite tall.
I am very lovable and friendly and I would love more than anything to find a home where I will be loved forever.
I'm a companion dog, not a working dog or hunting dog. DRN will check photo ID and do a yard check to make sure I only go to a genuine, caring home. Please come and meet me so I can show you what a good boy I am.
Ammo is in foster care in Muswellbrook, NSW (Hunter Valley) and is available for adoption interstate. For more information or to meet Ammo please phone foster carer Caroline on 02-4988-6401 or email moorefieldsfarm@bigpond.com
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Ammo's $400 adoption fee covers his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving other homeless dogs like Ammo.
Medical notes
Young and healthy dog.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
