About Flex
Flex is full of personality, youthful enthusiasm and is overtly loving.
He really has an adorably gentle nature and is wonderful with children and other dogs. He is certainly NOT dominant.
Flex LOVES to play. Whether it be with his toys, playing fetch with a ball or running with his human friend in the park you will find a big goofy smile on his face.
He is very well behaved and will stop a the side of the road before crossing.
As Flex is very feed orientated he is easy to train. It also helps that he is placid hence, easy to control and handle.
Flex will fret if you leave him alone for long periods of time so if you work he will need someone around for a visit or another dog for company. He will also object to being left outside when you are home - becoming vocal.
We wonder whether Flex thinks he is a bird ?????? He loves to chase them but never catches one. He seems to approach trees like he is about to climb up into one and perch himself on a branch.
He also has a quirky way of communicating with you - I swear he is trying to talk. You have to see it to believe it.
Flex is a very affectionate and loyal companion and would make any family very happy to have him. A perfect, gentle playmate for kids and a wonderful running companion for the parents.
Please complete an application form from
Adoption details
We strongly recommend you read the dogs' profile carefully as everything we know about the dog/s is listed.
If you are interested in a dog we invite you to submit an application form so we can learn more about your circumstances. This is to ensure we match the right dog to the best home. (one form per family - not per dog) http://www.dogadoption.org.au/adoption---expression-of-interest.html
This is for the benefit of both the dog and the potential new owner/s. It also saves time and uses limited resources more effectively.
Once the essential criteria is confirmed we put you in touch with the carer for a more detailed chat with a view of meeting the dog/s.
If you decide to proceed with the adoption we make a time for a house check.
The adoption fee is then paid (there is a 2 week cooling off period.) Please note we do not usually allow trials.
Foster carers are also able to adopt foster dogs once approved.
