About Cookie (On Trial 20/10/12)

Cookie is a 2 year old, male, Maltese x Poodle cross ("Moodle"). He is a delightful little man. He loves a cuddle, and a walk, and riding in the car. He is very good with other dogs and with people. He even likes a bath! He is a very happy little boy who will make some family very happy.
Cookie is an inside dog and needs to be in the house and included in family activities. He needs to sleep inside at night.
Being a non-shedding breed, Cookie needs brushing every few days, bathing approximately every 3 weeks, and professional clipping approximately every 6 weeks. Cookie is an easy, loving, young dog, just waiting to begin his new life.

Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Cookie's $450 adoption fee covers his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving other homeless dogs like Cookie.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
