About Jess (On Trial 8/10/12)
Jess is a 10 mth old female kelpie. She is approximately 16kg, she is small for her breed. She is a very quiet happy, timid adorable little girl with a wonderful disposition. She loves other dogs and people, and great with kids.
Jess draws you in with her big brown eyes, which just make you love her more. She loves her food, yet she will wait for her turn. Jess loves the beach.
Jess is a happy girl who loves to play with other dogs or curl up with you on the lounge. Her gentle nature would make her suitable for young kids. Jess is well socialised, she would also suit an older couple looking for a companion.
Jess has good basic obedience, and is easy to train. She is a shy girl and wants to please you. Jess is not a high maintenance dog, she loves to sit next to you and get a pat. She is such a gentle soul.
She would do well in a normal yard. She does love to go for regular walks. Jess walks well on lead, was trained to walk off lead next to her owner.. She is a very happy dog and will make a loyal and loving companion. Jess is a little girl with a big heart.
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Our adoption fee ($400) covers the dog's desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration.
Jess is in foster care in Ourimbah on the Central Coast NSW, and is available for adoption interstate. For more information or to meet her please phone Annette on 0404 099 021 or email davo@bigpond.net.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
