About Oscar (On Trial 12/10/12)
Oscar is a Doberman x Staffy puppy, who is 11 weeks old. He has been cared for by a family with children and so is very tolerant of both children and other large and small dogs. He loves being with people and with other dogs. Oscar hasn't seen a cat yet, but being so young he could learn to be friendly with cats and other animals. He will grow to be a medium to large sized dog.
Oscar enjoys travelling in the car and is starting to walk well on a lead and is learning quickly commands such as “Sit”. He sleeps both inside and outside with no problems. He is nearly fully housetrained and goes outside to go to the toilet when the back door is open. Oscar would love a home with another dog as he is currently in foster care with his brother and another dog but he also enjoys time lying on his bed or in the sun by himself.
Oscar is full of love and enjoys the company of people, he loves nothing better than being part of his human family and having cuddles and snuggles, and he is ready to find his forever home now. Oscar is a very pretty puppy with the classic Doberman black and tan markings. His brother Jasper is brindle like the Staffy colour’s but the shape of the Doberman. Oscar is the quieter of the two puppies but can be active and cheeky when he feels comfortable and loved around you. They were born on 11/7/2012. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life.
Oscar is in foster care in New Lambton, NSW. For more information or to meet him, please phone foster carer Siobhan on 02 49525406 or 0408 603156 or email her at jandspurins@bigpond.com

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
