About Charlie (on trial 12/10/12)
Charlie is a 3 month old Mastiff x Staffy puppy. He is a wonderful natured boy who loves to play or just settle down on the couch for a cuddle. He has settled in well with our 2 other dogs in the short time he has been here. He is great around my 15 month old daughter. Even when she has stolen his food bowl he has never reacted badly!
Charlie responds to his name but will benefit from further training. We always recommend puppy training classes to help your new dog be a good canine citizen and loved family member. He has a gorgeous, glossy black coat with white markings. He will probably grow up to be a medium to large sized adult dog.
Charlie needs a good walk and some time inside with his human family each day. He is best suited for a family with another dog for company and who can give him the love and attention he deserves. He's a great young dog, just starting out in life, and full of potential.
Charlie is in foster care in North Lambton, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate. For more information or to meet Charlie please phone foster carer Hannah on 0411 755 499 or email hannahlali@hotmail.com
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Charlie's $450 adoption fee covers his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving other homeless dogs like Charlie.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
