About Yoda (On Trial 3/10/12)
Yoda is a 5 year old, male, Lhasa Apso. He loves to curl up on the lounge and he thinks there is nothing better than a belly rub. Yoda njoys walks and travels well in a car.
He eats just about anything. He comes when called.
Yoda has a low shedding coat, meaning it grows and grows without falling out. So he leaves very little dog hair around your house but he will need brushing every couple of days, bathing every 3 weeks, and professional clipping every 4 to 6 weeks.
He is an indoor dog, and needs to be inside and part of the family. He's a dear little man who is waiting for a forever home where someone will love him.
Yoda and Wookie (5.5yo Lhasa Apso) http://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/200901 were surrendered to DRN after a family break up.
Yoda is in foster care in Jesmond NSW (Newcastle), and is available for adoption interstate. For more information or to meet Yoda please phone foster carer Christie on 040 4380 999 (sorry, no email).
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Yoda's $400 adoption fee covers his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving other homeless dogs like Yoda and Wookie.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
