About Chelsea (On Trial 11/11/12)
--- On trial. Please consider our other dogs and puppies at www.DogRescueNewcastle.com.au ---
Chelsea is a 13 week old Cattle x Border Collie. She is an adorable little girl with long legs and big ears, both of which she will grow into. Chelsea is fantastic with children, and dogs of all sizes. She is learning basic commands, and as most working dog breeds do, has lots of energy. She is getting better on the lead and loves to follow you around.
Chelsea settles well at night, and is learning to go outside or indicate her need to go out to the toilet. As she is still a puppy accidents still do happen. A house with a doggy door or free access to the yard would be ideal for her.
Chelsea will grow to be a medium sized dog and an extremely loyal companion, she is learning to chase her ball. Chelsea would benefit most from a home where she will have another playmate or she is regularly exercised.
If Chelsea sounds like the pup for you, please phone.
Chelsea is in foster care on the Central Coast, NSW. For more information or to meet her, please phone foster carer Shiree on 02 4392 1834 or 0405 567 099.
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Chelsea's $450 adoption fee covers her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving other homeless dogs like Chelsea.
Medical notes
Healthy and well cared for puppy.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
