About Georgie Girl (On Trial 14/10/12)
Georgie Girl is a female Miniature Foxie / Jack Russell mix who is 12 months old. She weighs only 3.5kgs. Georgie Girl is an absolute sweetheart who looks at you with her gorgeous eyes and makes your heart melt. She loves to snuggle on the lounge with you and sleep in your bed (under the covers!) Georgie Girl will need to be an inside / outside dog and sleep inside.
Georgie is good with cats and other dogs and is mostly toilet trained and improving every day. She is good with kids, though children over 7 years old would be recommended due to her small size.
Georgie Girl is in foster care in the Maitland area, NSW, and is available for adoption interstate. For more information or to meet her please contact Skye on 0415-380-230 or 4934-6643
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Our $400 adoption fee covers the dog's desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving homeless dogs.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
