Hamish *On Trial in His New Home*

*HAMISH IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME* Meet adorable little Hamish!! \ He and his siblings were surrendered to our local pound for rehousing - lucky for them they’re now SARG puppies who are looking for loving forever homes – will it be with you???

Hamish is enjoying life in foster care where he’s happy doing what normal, healthy pups do and that’s lapping up attention or amusing themselves playing with their toys or just snoozing the day away! He is a loving little pup, who will only be a small dog once he’s fully grown. \ He enjoys his foster carer’s company and that of other humans of all shapes and sizes including children. Hamish is a bit of a character and a social boy who likes greeting visitors, probably so he can get more pats and cuddles. He is happy to follow you around or join in with his carers other little dogs for a game of rough and tumble. Hamish is fine with the household cat as well as their pet piglet and he’s not an in your face kind of pup though he’s quite energetic. His siblings have smooth coats whereas Pedro has thrown more towards the Maltese/Shih Tzu and has a slightly fluffy coat which we reckon makes him even cuter!

Enjoy some video of Hamish and his siblings playing: http://youtu.be/JbmQFiDRVXs \ (please note the 3rd pup in the video already has an adoption pending)

Little Hamish has been learning to walk on a lead though hasn’t had much other training at this stage, however he’s quick to learn and please. Daily walks or runs around the back yard, secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on and toys to keep Hamish stimulated will make him very happy indeed!

As Hamish is used to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle (he’s doing well with his toilet training) and sleeps inside at night we would want this to be continued in his forever home with either a friendly doggie companion or on his own if he won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while he’s a pup.
