About Rex (On Trial 16/10/12)
Rex, 4 month old, Red Cattle Dog. Rex is a very eager puppy who loves nothing more than spending time with his family. He is a quick learner who would benefit from further training. He gets on well with other dogs and with children. He can be a bit jumpy with excitement when he meets new people so we don't recommend him for small children.
Rex is a very happy and intelligent young boy. His tails wags alot and he always makes us smile.
He is dreaming of a forever home where he will get a daily walk and play time with his people. He needs to spend some time inside and be an valued member of the family. He will pay you back with all his love and loyalty.
Rex is in foster care in Lake Macquaire, NSW and is available for adoption interstate. For more information or to meet Rex please phone foster carer Michelle on 4975-1665 or 0400-976-823 or email shell_matthews@hotmail.com
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Rex's $400 adoption fee covers his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving other homeless dogs like Rex.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
