About April (On Trial 25/10/12)
On hold pending adoption. Please consider our other puppies Dallas, Diesel, Chelsea and Cruze www.DogRescueNewcastle.com.au
April is a Doberman x Staffy puppy, only 10 weeks old. April is fine with cats and loves children. She is well socialised with dogs and puppies of different sizes and ages. She has been very well fed and cared for and loves being with people and with other dogs.
April travels well in the car in a crate. She hasn't been on a lead yet. She sleeps inside at night and has access to the house in the day. We always recommend puppy training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. April will grow to be a medium to large sized dog.
She is nearly fully housetrained and can will go outside to toilet when the back door is open or will use a newspaper indoors. A home with a doggy door would be ideal. April would love a home with another dog for company or someone who is at home most of the day as she is too young to be left home alone for long hours. April is full of love, life, and potential and she is ready to go to her forever home now.
April is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. For more information or to meet her, please phone foster carer Krystina on 0414-702-323 or 02-4948-5557.
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. April 's $450 adoption fee covers her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving other homeless dogs like April.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
