About Billy (On Trial 23/11/12)
Billy is a 7 yr old Maltese x. He is a inside dog with a happy go lucky nature. He is happy to blend in and doesn't try to be top dog. The first thing you notice about Billy is his face, he has a face that just melts your heart and eyes that gaze at you lovingly. Another thing with Billy is, he loves getting his photo taken and he will hold that pose while you take the picture, he really surprised the photographer who said that the fastest time ever when it comes to taking photos.
He enjoys playing with toys, it's really fun to watch him having a good time.
Billy is not a fussy eater,he eats anything put in front of him. He does get excited when you come home so he barks then or if someone is at the door. Billy would be happy to be left at home with maybe another dog for company. He loves being around our other small dogs.
Billy loves people but is not suited to children under 10 as he prefers not to be handled roughly or at times when he wants to be left alone. He has a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep him comfortable and beautiful.
For more information or to meet Billy please call his foster carer Debbie on 02 4945 8756. He is in foster care in Belmont, NSW (south of Newcastle).
Our $300 adoption fee covers the dog's desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving homeless dogs.
Medical notes
Healthy, happy little dog.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
