Alaska

Alaska needs a loving home. She was rescued from the pound, because with her affectionate and gentle nature we felt she needed another chance. She has learnt to live with our cat – and keep a respectful distance! she is great with kids of all ages, as she really is very gentle and quiet, and takes a lot of rough (well-meant) affection with good humour. She likes a good run/walk, and is used to being on a lead. She is fairly obedient, and usually comes back when called. She lives indoors with us mostly when we’re home, but likes being outside too. Alaska has been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped, and she is four years old. A family would be ideal for her, or any home where there is a bit of company for her. At the moment she has to be chained up on days when no-one is home as we do not have proper fencing, and she has coped well with that. Ideally her new owner should have appropriate fencing for a dog. We would love to keep her if we had the time and the yard, but hope to find a caring home for her soon. She is already on heartgard and frontline, and the remaining supply is included.
