About Tigger
Tigger is a real charmer, a very intelligent boy that is quite tuned into your mood and activities. It only took a few days for him to get settled into his foster parent’s home and he’s a real pleasure to have around. Tigger has a huge heart and just wants someone to love and cuddle. He loves to nap by your feet during the day and is not demanding of your time but likes going for short walks and has great lead manners. Tigger loves everyone, is great with kids and especially gentle with toddlers. Like any Shih-Tzu, he does become a little protective around strange dogs so if you have other pets in your home he would need to be introduced slowly. Tigger loves his squeaky toys but is neither food orientated nor food aggressive (though he does love his pig ears!) In fact, he feels more reassured if you’re somewhere close by when he’s eating. Tigger enjoys the company of people and would do well with families who won’t be away from home for too long. This smart boy somehow knows not to go upstairs which is carpeted and stays downstairs in the tiled areas. He takes himself out for toilet breaks during the day, knows to only play with his toys, doesn’t touch the furniture or jump on couches but does like to sit on soft mats and blankets. He has such a beautiful soul and we hope he finds a family who loves relaxing and giving him lots of scratches and cuddles. Tigger has so much love to give and will no doubt will find his forever home real soon
