About Girl Rat (Two Available)
These little ones were given up with their parents and brothers and sisters at just 3 weeks of age by a breeder who claimed she wanted to stop breeding however it was clear that the whole family was suffering from sarcoptic mange. They had little cysts and scabs on their ears and tail and both parents were quite underweight, especially the mother who was exhausted from having to look after her bubs after being bred from continuously. They have since been treated for mites and parasites and are putting on weight. Their skin has cleared up and they will be ready to find homes soon.
Medical notes
Note: Rats are prone to respiratory problems, however this is usually non-fatal if a responsible own is to keep a close eye on the condition and seek proper veterinary advice/treatment if it is to exacerbate. Please keep this in mind if you are considering adopting.
