Sooty

Sooty is an absolutely beautiful boy who just drips with love to give. He was surrendered to the pound because he was a handful for his previous owners as he is now a young teenager, displaying typical kelpie puppy behaviour, due to boredom, and climbing the fence to go visit the neighbours. Sooty is obviously a mix of two very intelligent breeds so he will thrive with direction, good training, frequent exercise and mental stimulation. He is looking for an owner he can devote himself to with all the loyalty and affection he can muster. Sooty already sits on command and looks to have been reasonably well cared for. He is currently a little hesitant towards males but this is purely due to a lack of exposure to them. Sooty would make a good candidate for obedience or agility dogsports. Alternatively he'd totally be in his element with a few kids to play with and run around with. Sooty has a short, easy-care coat that is a beautiful jet black and he'll be a medium size boy when mature
