Barney

Another golden oldie, but not only old and abandoned but now has only one eye. He came into the pound with a swollen eyeball and was diagnosed with glaucoma. Despite treatment, it was finally necessary to remove his eye to relieve his pain and suffering. Perhaps this is why his owner abandoned him. This operation hasn't affected his personality or spirit. He is friendly, outgoing and affectionate little bloke and loves cuddles. However, he will be looking for that special person who will accept him notwithstanding his age and that he only has one eye. Are you that person?

As a golden oldie, barney has a special adoption fee of
$150. **barney is in short term foster care for two weeks whilst the sydney dogs and cats home kennels undergo some much needed renovations. It would be great if barney could find a home during this period so that he does not have to come back into the home which can be quite stressful.
