George

Poor george has had a hard life it would seem and came into the pound neglected, and it seems, unwanted. Another golden oldie, looking for a new pillow on which to rest his head in his autumn years. He is quiet and depressed at present but will usually grow in confidence after a short time with us, as he will be showered with love and care by the volunteers, which always lets these dogs know, there is someone who cares for them. He is a funny little character, and stares sadly at all who come to say hello, appreciative of any show of love and attention. He would be an ideal companion for an older person, as they both could enjoy each others company watching the world go by, or taking short strolls to the park or the shops. He asks for little in life, only a warm bed, a good meal, a regular groom, but mainly lots of love. As a golden oldie, george has a special adoption fee of
$150. **george is in short term foster care for two weeks whilst the sydney dogs and cats home kennels undergo some much needed renovations. It would be great if george could find a home during this period so that he does not have to come back into the home which can be quite stressful.
