On Hold
About Yowie On Hold
Yowie and his siblings came into foster care after being dumped at the pound at around 3 weeks of age. Days later their mum (maggie) was found by council rangers abandoned in a house the tenants had left. Maggie and her babies have now been reunited in care. Yowie is the largest of the litter and he was a little standoffish at first, but now he quickly warms to you and is a super friendly boy. Yowie is just as playful as his two sisters and he has stunning red and lilac markings on his coat. Yowie also loves his cuddles and a belly rub. He loves kids and cuddles and playing now, he is full of personailty. While yowie is still a baby, he can't be left alone in the yard to fend for himself and, being such a little munchkin that will only be small as an adult, yowie would do best as a predominantly indoor pet with free access to the yard. Also, all this litter have a lot of fur, therefore they will require daily grooming and a regular bath and clip. Professional grooming is recommended about every 4-6 weeks. They will need particular attention to the eyes, ears and face, as well as the bottom. It is best to clip the fur around this region and keep it clipped. These little munchkins also need to be kept on a good, balanced diet - including raw bones, raw meat and some veggies as well as quality dry kibble to keep their teeth clean and healthy. If you're not prepared for this level of care for these very special little mites, then these aren't the puppies for you. Yowie would be best suited to a home preferably with no young children/toddlers in the household. Older children, "empty nesters" or the like would be ideal - if you enjoy spending time to fuss over, primp, preen and provide careful grooming for your pooch, then you will, in return, have the most loving, loyal, happy and healthy little entertainer you could ever wish for. Yowie and his siblings won't be available to go to their forever homes until around 8 weeks of age but, of course, if you feel you can provide the right home for yowie, please feel free to contact to discuss having him placed on hold for you
