About Pippa *On Trial in Her New Home*
*PIPPA IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME* Sweet Pippa is looking for a new forever home after a change in her owner’s circumstances meant they were unable to keep her; will it be with you???
From her foster carer: Pippa loves being with people, she has been hand reared as her mum rejected her when she was 2 days old. She is house trained, great with other dogs and also with our cats and she has even been around a rabbit without a problem. Pippa has a gentle loving nature and just wants to please everyone. She is quite timid so would be better suited to a quiet home without boisterous, young children who could easily frighten her – an older family would be fine. When she first came into care she was terrified of her dinner bowl and she’d run and hide when we fed her though thankfully this is getting better - not sure why she does this, maybe she’s had a fright once when she was eating? \ Pippa likes to play with toys, will sleep either in a crate bed or on the end of your bed or under the covers if you let her!!

Pretty girl Pippa is quite low-maintenance only needing a short walk or a run around the backyard to use up her energy. Being a Poodle/Shih Tzu blend she doesn’t shed much hair though she’ll require a good brush at least once a week and a professional clip when required to keep her coat in tip-top condition. Secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on, toys to play with and lots of love will make Pippa very happy indeed! And at just over 3kgs she’s a terrific “take-anywhere” size :)
As Pippa is already housetrained and sleeps inside at night she would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a friendly doggie companion or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time as she’s used to having company.
