About Harley (On Trial 29/9/12)
Harley is a back male med/large bull arab x 12 week old pup. He is a very sociable dog with humans and other animals. He understands some basic commands but will need puppy training with his new home. He is semi-house trained but will need to learn what happens in the new home.
He sleeps inside on the bed with his brother Jasper and foster carer at night but through the day he has a doggy bed which is in the house. He has a very healthy diet and his favourite thing to eat is skippy treats (kangaroo) and piggy's trotters. He loves to play tug-of-war with his brother, chew his piggy trotters, and play with any type of balls (footy, tennis, soccer). He is still getting used to being on a lead and will return if not on a lead if he isn't smelling something or socialising with another doggy friend. He doesn't bark alot he only tends to bark at his brother if they are playing or wanting the same toy. He has only ever been left alone for 4 hours at a time but he was in the company of his brother so he didn't fret whilst i was away. He reguarly snores while sleeping and has active dreams which if you pat him it seems to calm him.
He will need a big fenced in yard to play with a shaded area, room to grow more in as well as sleeping inside at night. He is a loving dog which needs a loving caring family environment with a big backyard to play in.
Harley is in foster care in the newcastle nsw area. For more information or to meet him please phone Megan on 0404 141 459.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
