About Fitz (On Trial 18/12/12)
Fitz is a 3 year old male wire haired terrier who is very active and is very affectionate. I believe this little guy may have been an inside and outside dog as he is happy to lay on the lounge and have a cuddle or run around outside playing with his brother Tricky.
Fitz is a little timid toward teen boys so he may have had a bad experience. Fitz is a great dog and deserves a great home.
Fitz is in foster care on Newcastle NSW. For more information or to meet him please phone Karen 02 4951 3726 or email smithy.peter4@gmail.com
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Our $400 adoption fee covers the dog's desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving homeless dogs.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
