About Clancy
Clancy is a 5yr old female border collie x cattle dog. she is being surrendered due to owners unfortunate change of circumstances. Is great with children & other dogs. Clancy has always been a house dog, has a great nature & will sleep at your feet while you watch tv. she loves to play fetch & will drop a ball in your hand, she plays tug-a-war & will sit on command when taking her for a walk.
She has been trained to sit when being feed, told to stay, then "go" when she's allowed to eat. She's not nasty when taking food away from her. She will bark when someone comes to the front door.
Clancy is an intelligent dog and will be your best friend. She is a girl who is a joy to have around and has a big heart full of love willing to share with her forever home.
Dog rescue newcastle www.ogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Our adoption fee ($400) covers the dog's desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. . .
Clancy is in foster care in Newcastle, and is available for adoption interstate. For more information or to meet her please contact Shane (contact details below)

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
