I'm Maximilian, or Maxie for short and I'm one good looking young puppy, just a few months old. I'm cheeky, curious and playful. I adore being cuddled and having my belly rubbed.
I'm making the most of my second chance by learning how to be a great family member. I'm good with other dogs and kids and know how to walk on a lead. I haven't yet met cats. I have a razor sharp brain which you'll be able to bring to its full potential with some schooling - I already know the basics. \ I'm very polite and am gentle when I take a treat out of your hand, not a big gobble guts. I have lots of puppy energy but my true nature is gentle, placid and keen to please. I'm hoping to go for walks at least once a day to burn off some energy and it'd be nice to have a home with another dog - I'm very sociable. But if you were around a lot, showering me with love, I'd also be ok as an only dog.
I'm quite easy going and take pretty much everything in my stride. Busy? That’s ok, I’ll go outside and watch butterflies flit by or lie in my bed. Meal time? Great, let me know when I can start eating and I'll chow down.
Ask me to wait and I will. Lots of crowds around? No problem, I'll say hi to everyone. Noisy trams and traffic? Don’t worry - I won't freak out. I'm happy hanging out on my bed or with you on the couch. \ I'm quite relaxed. The only concerning thing I do is eating plants and soil, but no-one’s perfect! I’m still quite young after all but it’s probably best if you don't have any toxic plants in your yard just in case.
If you're interested in me, you'd better act quickly - my foster family has fallen in love with me and you might have to battle it out with them for custody. They want me to go to a family where I’ll be given the love, kindness, respect and loyalty that I deserve. They know I'll give it back to my new family in spades. "I don't know how to express just how beautiful this little puppy is," says my foster mum.

We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter and our dogs are cared for in private homes.

Please note that we do not take /make telephone calls prior to receiving an application. Queries will be answered by email only. We give preference to responding to completed applications.
If the dog is suitable for you, we will telephone you to chat further. If the dog appears a good match for you we will arrange a no obligation ‘meet and greet’. We also complete a property check for our dogs to make sure all is safe and secure.
